The goal of the game, like regular wordle, is to guess the word. You have 6 guesses. Each time you make a guess, the letters of your guess will be highlighted Grey, Yellow, or Green.
The game is called "Unfair Wordle" because it never actually selects a word. Each time you make a guess, the game eliminates words from an internally held list of possible words that the final word could be, given the combination of colours so far. There are two modes which you can select from below: Blank guesses and Most guesses.
The Blank guesses mode attempts to prioritise giving you as many blank results for guesses (where all the squares are grey) at the beginning of the game. This mode is significantly easier than the Most guesses mode.
For the Most guesses mode, the result of each guess is chosen such that the list of possible words is narrowed down the least, i.e., the game is maximising the number of guesses required to find the word. Only when this list of possible words contains one single word, and you guess that word, do you win. So far, nobody has managed to beat this mode. It was proven to be possible with an automated guesser. Bonus: guess the word within 5 guesses!
